NewTag Method (GdPicturePDF)

Creates a new structure element of the defined structure type in the document's tag structure tree as a child of the specified parent element, that is a part of the document's logical structure hierarchy in the currently loaded PDF document.

Parameters

ParentTagID: A unique tag identifier specifying the parent element in the document's tag structure tree.
StructType: A name of the structure type for the newly created structure element.
Please refer to the PDF Reference, Section "Standard Structure Types", for the names of the standard structure types.

Return Value

The unique tag identifier of the newly created tag's tree element. The GdPicturePDF.GetStat method can be subsequently used to determine if this method has been successful.

Remarks

This method is only allowed for use with non-encrypted documents.

It is recommend to use the GdPicturePDF.GetStat method to identify the specific reason for the method's failure, if any.
