Automate a Process

Automate a Process Your Way

The best process automation tools give you free rein to design an automated processto match your department or organization’s way of working. Rather than a rigid “if this then that” structure, most process designers prefer more control over what happens and how it happens throughout a process.

This means more than laying out a series of tasks to perform; it means being able to run multiple workflows in parallel if needed. It means launching child processes from the primary process to handle specific workflows that feed the main workflow. And rather than simply stacking tasks on each other, you should be able to visually lay out the entire process in whatever arrangement makes it most manageable.

This is why Nutrient Workflow’s Process Builder is designed as a free-form “canvas” for process designers to shape their processes however they want. For instance, this purchase order process contains a dozen tasks laid out in the most logical order for the designer. Tasks are connected, business rules are applied, forms are included, etc.
