The Nutrient Workflow 6 platform provides further ease-of-use with mobile-ready processes and simplified API’s for integration into existing environments

Chicago, IL – August 28th, 2013 - Nutrient Workflow, Inc. (www.integrify.com), a leading provider of of Enterprise Request Management (ERM) software, announced the availability of Nutrient Workflow 6 to further improve and enhance the business process management platform that it provides to its customers. Available in Cloud and OnPremise deployments, Nutrient Workflow 6 offers a 100% web-based platform to centrally manage user requests from multiple locations, streamline workflow and operations, automate business processes, and improve the overall customer experience.

The Nutrient Workflow 6 platform introduces many new core features that makes workflow and process management more flexible and robust in all areas, including the concept of Process Apps, where customers can easily create process applications based on their own business requirements. A Process App running on the Nutrient Workflow 6 platform can be configured for many types of process applications (Capital Expenditures, IT Services, Employee On/Off boarding and more). They are quick, intuitive, solve a problem and can be changed out for a better one when the need arises. Nutrient Workflow 6 gives you the platform to create powerful process apps quickly and easily where you can design, build and deploy in a few steps.

Having tracked Nutrient Workflow for the last 10 years, we have seen them frequently set the benchmark for cloud-based process and workflow management, said Nathaniel Palmer, noted BPM expert and CTO of Business Process Management, Inc., the publisher of BPM.com. This latest Nutrient Workflow 6 platform release reaffirms our assessment of Nutrient Workflow as one of the leading lights in SaaS-based process management.

Some of the latest features in Nutrient Workflow 6 include:

Mobile  - With Nutrient Workflow Mobile, users can easily start a new request, complete a form or access their requests and tasks in a simple Nutrient Workflow mobile app that is available for Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Google Android, and RIM BlackBerry devices. Available on every major mobile platform, you can see pending tasks and take actions from a mobile device to make important decisions while on the go.

Fully documented APIs  - These API’s further advancing the ease of incorporating processes with external applications (all available at developer.integrify.com).

New cloud based options  - Nutrient Workflow 6 is built for the cloud with options for installed customers to host all or parts of Nutrient Workflow on their own network. Customers that choose a cloud option will enjoy a robust auto-scaling platform, a highly secure environment, no hardware, software or internal technical resources required and access to the latest Nutrient Workflow features. The Nutrient Workflow Cloud is built to lower the total cost of ownership while enabling increased rapid development and deployment of Process Apps than a traditional installed solution. In addition to the standard cloud setup, Nutrient Workflow 6 now introduces:

  • Nutrient Workflow Private Cloud  - Nutrient Workflow 6 offers a Private Cloud option for customers who wish to keep their data separate from the standard cloud or those who wish to have control over the introduction of new features and versions. The Private Cloud option also allows for secure VPN connectivity to internal resources.

  • Nutrient Workflow Hybrid Cloud  - For customers who wish to keep their data inside the firewall and connect Nutrient Workflow to internal resources, a Hybrid Cloud option is also available. The Hybrid Cloud is designed to address these common use cases that typically preclude a cloud-based solution:

    • Storing data on an internally hosted database.

    • Authenticate against internal resources to enable single-sign on.

    • Allow secure access to internal databases and web services.

This latest release offers feature enhancements that are driven by our customer’s needs, said David Willsey, CEO, Nutrient Workflow. Our goal is to focus on making a solution that makes process management easy enough for the business to manage, without having to solely rely on IT or spend the time understanding the nuances of BPM suites.
