Automating new hire processes will help Medcor save thousands of dollars a year, improve the speed of their hiring process and deliver services to its customers faster than ever before

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 23, 2008 - Nutrient Workflow Software, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Request Management (ERM) software, announced that Medcor, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced occupational health management services has chosen Nutrient Workflow to automate tasks in its IT and HR departments, to help centralize and manage all requests, and increase consistency and compliance within its organization.

“The savings in both time and money we are going to achieve by automating our new hire processes in Nutrient Workflow are clear,” said Tim Sahouri, CIO, Medcor. “Hiring and placing qualified medical professionals is core to our business, and there is a ton of paperwork associated with the new hire process; applications, I9 forms, background check release forms and more all gets sent via overnight mail for the applicant to fill out and then overnight it back to Medcor. Using Nutrient Workflow to automate the whole process we will save between $30 and $40 and shave 3-5 days off the hiring process for each applicant.”

Medcor was looking for a product that is easy to use and implement, so that employees at headquarters and medical professionals on site at over 130 client locations can easily access and adopt new automated processes. They needed a system that would help with the immediate need to automate HR processes, but one that could scale to automate workflow across the entire company. Medcor also required that their automation solution integrate with existing systems, including the HR system from Sage and their CRM systems.

Nutrient Workflow 4.5 is a 100% web-based solution for Enterprise Request Management (ERM) that allows companies to automate requests and streamline processes. The software provides form creation, routing definition and tracking tools to those responsible for processing requests, minimizing data entry and simplifying requests for approval and fulfillment. Nutrient Workflow is web-based, allowing for easy user accessibility and management of business processes. The solution eliminates problems typically related to labor-intensive processes such as manual paper handling and email requests, and can reduce costs per transaction 60 to 90 percent as opposed to paper-based processes.

Nutrient Workflow 4.5 is also available as an OnDemand solution (SaaS) that offers the full functionality of the Nutrient Workflow software via the Internet without requiring on-site installation and maintenance of the software. Customers can see the benefits to their business almost immediately due to the solution’s easy set-up including unlimited processes that the customer defines, unlike other options on the market that only provide limited, pre-built processes that may not match a company’s needs.

“I’ll be able to give new employee candidates a user-name and password, pre-populate a lot of the forms and have them start the process immediately. Getting new employees on board faster means our clients will get medical professionals ready to deliver care more quickly,” said Sahouri.

In addition to their concurrent licenses, which will allow every employee to access a single portal for all their automated Nutrient Workflow processes, Medcor will be using Nutrient Workflow plugins to configure their Nutrient Workflow environment. Medcor will be using the Database Push and Database Pull plugins to connect Nutrient Workflow processes with data from other systems including their Sage HR system. They will also be using the Nutrient Workflow Remote Sync Service to synchronize Nutrient Workflow user accounts and permissions with existing corporate directories.

Nutrient Workflow will be used by all Medcor’s employees in headquarters as well as the over 130 client-locations where Medcor operates. In the first year, it is anticipated that several hundred IT, HR and onboarding requests will be handled through Nutrient Workflow. Over time, the company intends to replace its existing disparate point solutions for requests into Nutrient Workflow.
