Panda Restaurant Group Chooses Integrify® to Automate New Store Openings
Nutrient Workflow® Cloud BPM solution to automate the tasks involved with opening new stores in its restaurant chains.
Chicago, IL – May 3rd, 2011 - Nutrient Workflow® Software, Inc., a leading provider of Lean BPM software, announced that Panda Restaurant Group, the largest and fastest growing Asian restaurant company in the nation and operators of Panda Express, has chosen its Nutrient Workflow® Cloud BPM solution to automate the tasks involved with opening new stores in its restaurant chains.
Panda Restaurant Group is the nation’s leader in Asian dining experiences and one of its largest family-owned businesses, operating several successful restaurant concepts including Panda Express, Panda Inn and Hibachi-San. This year, Panda is targeted to open 175 new stores and Nutrient Workflow® was chosen to automate the process to be sure it is standardized, efficient, and traceable.
We chose the Nutrient Workflow® system because it is intuitive and very easy to use with a graphical interface that will allow us to track all the activities in our processes, said Alan Cheung, Director of Information System, Panda Restaurant Group. In 3 to 6 months we anticipate that everyone will be following the same process, which keep us in step. By the end of the year, we’ll be able to look back and review the process and see where we can make further improvements on it.
Nutrient Workflow® 5.0 is a Lean BPM software solution that helps organizations reduce cost and improve employee satisfaction by providing process definition, workflow automation and visibility for departments such as Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Marketing and other types of services.
Nutrient Workflow® has been shown to reduce direct process and workflow costs by more than 30 percent, cut workflow and process management cycle times in half, and deliver positive ROI in less than three months.
The lean, light, powerful process management software focuses on quick implementation and ease of use. The Web 2.0 interface lets users quickly turn ideas into a working process. Nutrient Workflow®’s simple process development allows testing, tweaking and easy deployment of processes via web browser. Unlike other traditional BPM suites, workflow and eForms vendors, Nutrient Workflow® is a complete process-centric system including status and routing management, forms creation, reporting and user dashboards. Customers are not stuck with multiple modules to put together in order to activate their process solution.
Panda Restaurant Group will first automate the processes necessary to launch a new outlet—including the IS preparation of the required equipment and change management in the IS department. Initially there will be 20 to 25 users across the entire organization (in the United States, Mexico and Canada) performing 5 tasks using Nutrient Workflow®.
The way we use it will expand next year after we have a chance to evaluate how it’s working and where else it might be applied, said Cheung.
The Nutrient Workflow® Cloud BPM solution provides the full functionality of Nutrient Workflow® without needing to install and maintain software on a local server. Supporting the pragmatic approach to Lean BPM, it eliminates the overhead involved with deploying and managing a server infrastructure when implementing a solution for BPM and workflow management. There are no set-up costs and minimal maintenance, as Nutrient Workflow® acts as the customer’s expert IT department, keeping the system secure, reliable and up-to-date. It guarantees uptime, and users can access the system from anywhere via the web.
According to Cheung, PRG chose the Cloud option because it allows everything to be implemented much more quickly than if we do it in-house, where there would be other concerns like buying hardware and doing installation. With the Cloud option, we also don’t have to worry about the updates in the future as the Nutrient Workflow® team updates for us. Cloud is really the best way for implementing a great product like Nutrient Workflow®.
