What is the Notification Center?

The Notification Center is a centralized location for Integrify admins to receive and manage notification messages from the system. Both the interface and functionality of the Notification Center resemble an email client and is accessible through a new bell icon on the top right menu of the Integrify panel. 

Only those in the Administrator group will have the new “Bell” icon and receive the notifications.

Why the Notification Center?

Integrify Admins have long had the need of staying informed of important messages regarding license usages and application activities. The Notification Center allows us to deliver these messages to our admins in an automated and centralized manner which will benefit Integrify admins/developers in better system monitoring and decision making.

How do I access the notification center?

On your Integrify panel, click on the bell icon on the top right menu. The circled number indicates the number of unread messages.

An overview of the Notification Center

The Notification Center is similar to an email interface where you can see a list of system messages. Each notification consists of a message header, body and a timestamp. 

Type of Notifications:

Notification Type

Description

Licenses

Messages regarding license status, overages and other updates. 

Scheduled Events

Messages regarding missed reports and process schedules.

Tasks

Messages regarding task failures.

Reports (To be added)

Messages regarding reports activities, including report schedules, custom query failures, etc.

Navigating the Notification Center

Inbox

All notification messages will be displayed in your Inbox except for trashed and deleted ones. By selecting one or multiple messages, you are able to delete, flag or mark them as read/unread.

Action

Description

Trash message(s)

This action will move the selected messages from the Inbox to the Trash folder, where you can permanently delete the messages or restore them back to the Inbox.

Flag message(s)

This action will flag the messages and add the flagged ones to the Flagged folder. Note that the flagged messages will also remain in the Inbox.

Unflag message(s)

This action removes the flag of the messages and also removes the messages from the Flagged folder.

Mark message(s) as read

Mark one or many messages as read. By doing so, the messages will be removed from the Unread folder.

Mark message(s) as unread

Restore the messages to the state of unread and add them to the Unread folder.

Filter message(s)

You can filter messages by notification type; More filtering options will be added in the future.

Trash folder

View a list of trashed messages here. You can choose to permanently delete the messages in this folder by clicking the REMOVE button, or restore the messages to the Inbox by clicking RECOVER.

Unread folder

View the list of unread messages in this folder. By clicking the ‘Mark as Read’ icon, you can remove messages from this list.

Flagged folder

Flagged messages will remain in the inbox, however, you can navigate to this folder to view your flagged messages only, or unflag the messages to remove them from this list.
