Link multiple accounts to a single document converter
A few of our customers want to associate multiple accounts with a single subscription. This allows multiple developers to have their own API key/login account, or maintain different accounts for different environments or processes.
Nutrient fully supports this scenario, and allows accounts for Nutrient Document Converter Services Online subscriptions (for Flow, Logic Apps, API access) to be associated with an existing Nutrient Document Converter for SharePoint Online subscription. It ensures a single subscription covers our SharePoint Online App, Flow/Logic Apps, and our REST API.
To associate an existing Nutrient Document Converter Online subscription with a new Nutrient Document Converter Services Online account, follow the below steps:

The instructions for linking a Nutrient Document Converter for SharePoint Online subscription with another Document Converter for SharePoint Online subscription are different, and can be found in [Linking Multiple SharePoint Tenants to a Single Subscription](/guides/document-converter/about/licensing/linking-multiple-sharepoint-tenants-to-a-single-subscription/).
-
Create a Flow or Logic App as normal. The first time you add any of the ‘Nutrient’ actions, you will be asked to either log-in or register (choose the registration option). Alternatively, if you don’t want to use Flow, for example in cases when you need an API key, register here.
-
Fill-in the details and make sure that in the field asking for the optional existing subscription ID, you enter one of the following:
-
To link with an existing SharePoint Online subscription: The Tenant ID of your SharePoint Online environment (the one associated with your existing Nutrient subscription). For more details, see how to determine your Tenant ID.
-
To link with an existing Services Online subscription: The subscription ID for the existing subscription. It is available in the confirmation email you’ve received when the existing subscription was first registered. Alternatively it can be requested from our Sales team.
-
Once finished, an email will be sent to the person who is set up as the owner of the existing Nutrient Document Converter Online subscription. This person was designated when the subscription was first purchased. The owner needs to click the link in the email to approve the request.
-
Once confirmed by the owner, an email will be sent to the email address specified in step #2 above. This email also contains the API key that can be used when integrating with our API directly. Store it safely.
Before registering, put some thought into the name/email address to use when filling out the form. We suggest using a generic name (for example, [email protected]). Make sure the email address can receive emails from us and that the appropriate stakeholders have access to the email address.
Keep in mind that any operation carried out via the linked subscription will count towards the monthly allotment of your main subscription.
