Do I need to install any software on our desktops or Acrobat / MS-Word on my servers?

There is no need to deploy any client side software or install Adobe Acrobat on the server. However MS-Office 2007 / 2010 must be installed on the server that runs the Conversion Service. Full details can be found in the Administration Guide.
