Employee Spotlight: Jake Henson
Jake is our November employee spotlight at Nutrient Workflow! He’s been with our team for over a year now and is always eager to help our customers and help them learn as much as possible. We appreciate all you do, Jake!
Tell me about your role at Nutrient Workflow.
I am a Workflow Implementation Specialist and part of Nutrient Workflow’s services team. In the role, my job is to work with existing customers to learn more about their business processes and help them to create automated workflow solutions within Nutrient Workflow to streamline their procedures. We work with all types of customers at every level of experience with technology, and I love bridging the gap for our customers to help them see the power of workflow automation in their organization!
How long have you worked at Nutrient Workflow?
I’ve been with the Nutrient Workflow team for over a year and have loved every second of it!
What is something you love about working for Nutrient Workflow?
Besides the amazing team here, what really has made my time at Nutrient Workflow great has been the wide range of customers we work with. Every day presents a unique challenge, and I love collaborating with other organizations to help them get the most out of their workflow software.
What kind of problems do you like to solve?
Any time I can walk through a process with a customer and help them find their bottlenecks and areas for improvement is the most satisfying part of my job. It’s so exciting to see the “a-ha!” moment they have when we’re able to configure a workflow process to automate these pain points, and getting to collaborate with customers to help them map their processes in Nutrient Workflow is always a pleasure (we really do have some of the best customers!!)
What do you like to do in your free time?
I’m an avid reality TV buff (if you ever are on a call with me, I’m always interested in talking about your favorite Survivor castaways!), I like to cook and try new recipes, and always happiest when I get to spend time with family and friends!
Is there anyone on the team you’d like to shout out?
We are really fortunate at Nutrient Workflow to have such an all-star team. I would be remiss not to bring up Ron Taylor on the services side. He is a powerhouse when it comes to understanding Nutrient Workflow and the technical implications of configuring workflows in different ways, and he has been able to help many times when I’m hitting my head against the wall on JavaScript code. Mike Ebner is also an amazing teammate; he has such a breadth of experience to pull from with all the different customer use cases he’s run into, and I always enjoy collaborating with him on projects. Penny Liu has also been a lifeline for me many times and can bring new perspectives and solutions I would never have thought of when building out workflows. I am very fortunate to be on this team and have learned so much from my teammates since joining Nutrient Workflow!
Beyond the services team, I have to give a special shoutout to my friends Danielle on the customer success team and Toni on the marketing team. They are some of the kindest and most fun people I know, and getting to work with them is seriously the best! And not to be a broken record, but again working with some of our customers has been the most rewarding part of my job! A customer from Los Alamos comes to mind right away. Every time I get the chance to collaborate with her on workflows for their organization is an absolute treat!
