Our April employee spotlight is on Tom Rezk, our Director of Sales! He talks about his role at Nutrient Workflow, problems he likes to solve, and more.

Thanks for all you do, Tom! 

Tell me about your role at Nutrient Workflow.

I lead the sales team, developing and executing our sales strategy to improve customer engagement and acquisition.

How long have you worked at Nutrient Workflow?

I have been with Nutrient Workflow for 3.5 years.

What is something you love about working for Nutrient Workflow?

One of my favorite things about Nutrient Workflow is the mindset that the “best idea wins.” From a product perspective, it’s easy to see how Nutrient Workflow is built to automate processes, increase efficiency, and improve visibility. However, to see it on a cultural and collaborative level is what makes Nutrient Workflow a very rewarding place to work.

What kind of problems do you like to solve?

I’m always looking for new ways for us to improve our practice and client engagement. The fascinating thing about our area of the business is that we work with so many different types of customers, from just about every industry, each with their own uniquely challenging use cases that they’re looking to address.

The problem solving really starts with listening and understanding their business needs – beyond a list of project requirements, to get a better sense of how it’s impacting their business. That’s the really fun part of the job, is taking on a more active role with our clients and partnering with them on these projects.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to golf, I’m not very good at it, which makes it even more interesting to me because there’s so much room for improvement.

Who do you enjoy working with on the Nutrient Workflow team?

It’s hard to pick just one person that I enjoy working with because we have such a great team. I’ve always thought Nutrient Workflow operated in a very symbiotic manner, that our individual success was predicated on the collective.

We’re able to engage with such a diverse clientele because Mike Raia and the Marketing team create such compelling content. Our Technology and DevOps team, led by Dan Jankowski, is continuously improving the product to make us more competitive. In turn, we rely on John Bartlett and the Services team to deliver on some very complex projects.

Tom Martin and the Customer Success team go above and beyond the call for our customers and you can see that in all the testimonials and case studies.

And of course, none of this would be possible without the vision and leadership of our co-founders, Dave Willsey and Rich Trusky.
